Roofing Contracts manager

You will guide the contracts managers who handle daily site work with roofers while ensuring operation co-ordinators stay aligned on ordering and logistics. Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end process of preparing and reviewing roofing tenders
• Supervise and mentor Contracts Managers together with Operation Co-ordinators
• Support Contracts Managers as they manage everyday site activities with roofers and coordinate orders through operation co-ordinators
• Partner with contracts managers to schedule labour and materials, confirming every location receives adequate resources
• Obtain competitive material pricing by dealing directly with merchants
• Control stock levels and movement to prevent shortages or excess
• Monitor overall project delivery standards and keep communication channels open between teams

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing roofing contracts and related commercial activity
• Proven ability to lead contracts managers and operation co-ordinators effectively
• Sound knowledge of labour and materials planning for multi-site roofing work
• Confidence negotiating with merchants and maintaining accurate stock records
• Strong organisational skills and clear communication across operational teams
• Familiarity with typical roofing practices, temporary works and site resource requirements
