About the Role
As a Janitor at our Gary, Lake County location, you'll play a vital part in the guest experience by maintaining a tidy and orderly store environment. This is a part-time position (up to 29 hours per week, without benefits) that pays $12.50 per hour, with On-Demand Pay so you can access your earnings as you work. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep sales floors, restrooms, entryways, and back areas clean and presentable throughout each shift
- Empty trash, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces to support a healthy, comfortable store
- Restock and manage cleaning supplies, reporting low inventory as needed
- Help maintain merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness standards
- Support a friendly, guest-first atmosphere alongside the rest of the team
Qualifications
- Reliable and detail-oriented, with a genuine commitment to cleanliness
- Able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout a shift
- Dependable team player who takes initiative without close supervision
