Role Overview

In this critical role at Uasys, you will provide high-quality care to neonates in our NICU unit. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex medical cases and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working with infants and their families.

Core Duties

• Assess and monitor the health status of neonates, implementing treatment plans under the guidance of pediatric specialists.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to prescribed protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for each patient.
• Educate parents and family members on the care and management of their infants, providing support and guidance throughout their stay.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.

What You Bring

• A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
• Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NICN) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a NICU setting, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
