About the Role
This full-time travel position places an experienced Medical-Surgical Oncology RN at a healthcare facility in Aurora, Aurora County. As part of a surgical oncology (MedSurg SRG) care team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their treatment and recovery. The assignment runs for 13 weeks beginning on or around July 13, 2026, with a standard 36-hour weekly schedule built on three 12-hour rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients on a 3x12 rotating shift pattern.
- Monitor patient status, administer treatments and medications, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Support patients and families with education and guidance through the oncology care journey.
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and infection-control practices.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Colorado.
- Background in surgical oncology or medical-surgical nursing (MedSurg SRG).
- Availability for a 13-week, full-time travel contract starting around 07/13/2026.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
- Willingness to relocate to or work on-site in Aurora, Colorado for the duration of the assignment.
