RevOps Manager, Forecasting and Analytics (Remote)

Join Cengage Group as a RevOps Manager, Forecasting and Analytics, a fully remote position serving the International, King County area.

About the Role

In this role you will partner with sales, finance, and marketing leaders to build reliable forecasting models and deliver actionable analytics that drive revenue growth. You will own the end‑to‑end process of data collection, validation, and reporting, ensuring that insights are accurate, timely, and aligned with corporate objectives.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain quarterly and annual revenue forecasts using historical trends, pipeline data, and market indicators.
• Design dashboards and visualizations that highlight key performance indicators for executive stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify drivers of forecast deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the sales operations team to refine quota setting, territory planning, and incentive compensation models.
• Ensure data integrity across CRM, ERP, and business intelligence platforms by establishing governance standards and automation workflows.
• Provide ad‑hoc analytical support for strategic initiatives such as pricing experiments, product launches, and market expansion.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning within the revenue operations function.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, financial planning and analysis, or sales analytics, preferably within a B2B education or technology environment.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel (including advanced functions and modeling), and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, pipeline concepts, including lead conversion, sales cycle length, and renewal rates.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for non‑technical audiences.
• Proven track record of building scalable forecasting processes and improving forecast accuracy.
• Self‑starter mindset, comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining strong cross‑functional collaboration.
