Research Physical Therapist

The Geneva Foundation is recruiting a Research Physical Therapist to support clinical research operations at Eglin Air Force Base in Okaloosa County. In this full-time position, you will deliver direct clinical care to study participants while advancing evidence-based research that improves therapeutic outcomes.

About the Role

This Research Physical Therapist position combines hands-on clinical practice with scientific research. You'll provide essential clinical assessment, intervention, and monitoring to research study participants while maintaining rigorous standards for data collection and participant safety. Your work directly contributes to studies that benefit military service members, veterans, and their families.

What You'll Do

• Perform clinical evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions to research study subjects
• Collect and manage research data in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
• Document clinical observations, participant progress, and treatment responses accurately
• Monitor participant safety and welfare throughout study engagement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity
• Report findings and clinical observations to research leadership
• Maintain compliance with institutional review boards and quality assurance standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT or DPT)
• Clinical physical therapy experience and demonstrated competency
• Proficiency in data collection, documentation, and record management
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations
• Understanding of research ethics and clinical trial standards
• Prior research or clinical trial experience strongly preferred
