About the Role

In this full-time position based in Waltham, Massachusetts, you'll support our chemistry research team in advancing oligonucleotide-based therapeutics. As a Research Associate focused on oligonucleotide chemistry, you'll engage in experimental design, laboratory synthesis, and characterization of oligonucleotide compounds. This hands-on role is essential to our mission of democratizing access to tools and technologies that enable better medicine development.

What You'll Do

• Conduct synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides using established protocols and methods
• Perform analytical characterization and quality control testing on research compounds
• Document experimental procedures, observations, and results with precision and accuracy
• Analyze data and troubleshoot experimental challenges in collaboration with senior scientists
• Maintain laboratory equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Contribute to the preparation of research documentation and technical reports

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline
