About the Role

The Rehabilitation & Closure Supervisor role at Glencore Coal in Clermont, Isaac is a full-time position. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role oversees and influences rehabilitation and closure projects ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely.

Core Duties

• Oversee and manage rehabilitation and closure projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor progress and provide regular reports to management
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in rehabilitation and closure roles within the mining industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as environmental engineering, geology, or mining is preferred
