Your Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental cleanings that include scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove deposits and promote gum health.
• Examine patients for indicators of periodontal disease, cavities, or other oral conditions and clearly document findings for the dentist.
• Take and develop accurate dental radiographs while following all safety protocols for radiation exposure.
• Instruct patients on effective brushing, flossing, and daily home-care techniques tailored to their needs.
• Apply fluoride varnishes, dental sealants, and other preventive agents as directed.
• Update electronic patient charts with observations, completed treatments, and recommendations.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain treatment rooms, and uphold strict infection-control standards.
• Coordinate with dentists and assistants to deliver seamless, efficient chairside support throughout the day.

Requirements

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist license authorizing practice in Nebraska.
• Solid working knowledge of modern dental hygiene techniques, instruments, and clinical protocols.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients of all ages.
• Competence in capturing diagnostic images and performing full-scope prophylaxis procedures.
• Strong attention to detail when charting and recording clinical data.
• Willingness to work full time on-site at the Willow Dental Millard location in Millard, NE for Lumio Dental.
