USNR Career is hiring a Regional EHS & Construction Safety Manager in Woodland for a full-time position focused on driving environmental health and safety excellence across manufacturing and construction operations.
About the Role
As Regional EHS & Construction Safety Manager at USNR Career, you'll take ownership of a critical safety leadership position. You'll ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations while building a safety-first culture that resonates across all operations. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing and construction, where your expertise directly influences both immediate workplace safety and long-term risk mitigation.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive EHS standards, policies, and procedures that meet or exceed regulatory requirements
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and compliance assessments across manufacturing facilities and construction sites
- Partner with operations managers and field leadership to identify hazards, assess risk exposure, and drive corrective actions
- Design and deliver targeted safety training programs for manufacturing and construction environments
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, analyze incident trends, and implement preventive measures
- Maintain documentation, records, and regulatory submissions required by OSHA, EPA, and state/local agencies
- Champion continuous safety improvement through employee engagement and leadership alignment
What We're Looking For
- Professional safety certification (CSP, CHST, or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience managing EHS programs in manufacturing and/or construction settings
- Solid understanding of federal safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and applicable state requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence behavior and build safety ownership across teams
- Experience conducting safety audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
- Ability to balance regulatory compliance with operational efficiency
- Problem-solving mindset and comfort in dynamic, fast-paced industrial environments
