Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc is seeking a full-time HVAC Install Technician to join our residential installation team in Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Bernalillo County. This position offers hands-on work installing and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential properties throughout the Albuquerque area.
About the Role
As an HVAC Install Technician with Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling Inc, you'll be responsible for the complete installation and service of climate control systems in homes throughout Los Ranchos De Albuquerque and surrounding Bernalillo County communities. This is a full-time position where you'll work directly under the Residential HVAC Install Manager, earning hourly wages as a non-exempt employee.
What You'll Do
- Install new HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems in residential homes
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling systems to ensure reliable air quality and temperature control
- Follow manufacturer specifications and building codes during all installation work
- Troubleshoot system performance and identify solutions for homeowners
- Maintain detailed records of completed work and customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Technical aptitude and experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration, or mechanical work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work throughout Los Ranchos De Albuquerque and Bernalillo County
- Willingness to obtain HVAC certifications or licenses as required by your state or employer
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform hands-on installation and maintenance in various home environments
