About the Role

As a PW800 Assembly Technician at RTX, you will work onsite in Bridgeport, Connecticut, contributing to the hands-on assembly of PW800 engine components and modules during the 5th shift. This is a precision-driven, full-time position ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, follows detailed technical instructions, and thrives in a structured manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble PW800 engine parts, modules, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect components throughout the build process to confirm they meet specification and tolerance requirements.
• Document completed work and report any discrepancies, defects, or process issues to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace in line with RTX policies and aerospace compliance standards.
• Collaborate with shift teammates, inspectors, and engineers to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required, as access to information under this program is restricted to U.S. citizens.
• Availability to work the 5th shift fully onsite in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions.
• Comfort working with hand tools and reading mechanical drawings or assembly documentation.
