About the Role

The Purchasing Controller will manage stock, equipment, purchasing, job costing, logistics and administrative processes for the Johannesburg and Nelspruit branches. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electronic security, technical services, construction, IT, electrical or similar project-based environments.

What You'll Do

• Oversee stock management and inventory control to ensure optimal levels of supplies for both branches.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Manage job costing processes, ensuring accurate tracking of costs associated with projects.
• Coordinate logistics for the efficient movement of goods between branches.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in procurement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, and administrative roles within the security, technical services, construction, IT, electrical industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with job costing methodologies and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and other relevant software tools for inventory and purchasing.
