About the Role

As a Protection and Control Senior Technician at Vistra's fossil generation operations in Kincaid, you will work with limited oversight from Lead P&C Technicians to ensure that protection and control equipment performs accurately and dependably. Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and inspect protection and control equipment across fossil generation facilities.
• Calibrate instruments and control systems to keep them within required operating specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in protective relays, control circuits, and related equipment.
• Carry out assigned tasks independently while coordinating with Lead P&C Technicians when guidance is needed.
• Support the safe, compliant, and continuous operation of generation assets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting protection and control systems, ideally in a power generation setting.
• Strong working knowledge of protective relays, control circuitry, and electrical test equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
