Position Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to join our Duncan, SC team. In this role, you'll partner with our sales and operations groups to craft, coordinate, and deliver winning proposals that meet client requirements and company standards. As a Proposal Specialist at Wabtec, you'll translate customer needs into clear, compelling documentation that showcases our solutions and secures new business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce professional proposal documents in response to client requests and RFPs
- Coordinate with sales teams to gather necessary information, requirements, and approvals for each proposal
- Manage proposal schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submissions
- Liaise with engineering, pricing, and operations to confirm technical accuracy and feasibility
- Maintain and update proposal templates and compliance documentation
- Track proposal status and maintain organized records in proposal management systems
- Ensure all proposals align with company standards, policies, and brand guidelines
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proposal management tools
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing requests
