About the Role

This full‑time position reports to the Packaging Manager and works closely with quality, maintenance, and supply chain partners to keep lines running smoothly and meet daily output targets.

What You'll Do

• Supervise packaging operators and coordinate shift start‑ups, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Monitor line performance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Enforce GMP, safety, and sanitation standards to protect product quality and employee wellbeing.
• Track production metrics, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train new team members, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative, safety‑first culture.
• Communicate production status to planning and logistics to align inventory with demand.
• Participate in root‑cause investigations and corrective actions when deviations occur.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience supervising packaging or manufacturing operations in a food, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Solid understanding of GMP, OSHA, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and follow batch records, work instructions, and equipment manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a data‑driven mindset for improving efficiency.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to motivate a diverse shift team.
• Basic computer proficiency, including ERP or MES systems for production tracking.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
