Weyerhaeuser is hiring a full-time Process Control Engineer to lead technical initiatives that enhance manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and workplace safety. Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor electrical technicians and automation staff on process systems, technical best practices, and skill development
- Diagnose and resolve operational challenges across process control systems, instrumentation, and production equipment
- Design, plan, and execute projects that strengthen facility safety standards and manufacturing performance
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Monitor process systems, analyze performance data, and recommend enhancements to workflows and equipment
What We're Looking For
- Background in electrical engineering, process automation, industrial control systems, or a closely related technical field
- Hands-on experience with process control platforms, PLCs, SCADA systems, or industrial automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with attention to safety and precision
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members
