The Opportunity
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Sentara Family Medicine practice in Suffolk, VA. This opportunity offers a patient care-driven environment with the potential for long-term, generational relationships. The position provides flexibility with Monday through Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is open to a four-day work week.
- Average daily patient load of 18-20 patients
- Join an established clinic with over 30 years of experience
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, including but not limited to:
- Evaluating and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Providing patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for the best patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
To be considered, candidates must:
- Hold a current and unrestricted NP or PA license in Virginia
- Possess strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
- Show a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Have experience in family medicine or a related field is preferred but not required
