About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead the planning, estimating, and budgeting efforts for luxury custom residential construction projects in Coastal San Diego, CA communities. This role is responsible for guiding projects through the preconstruction phase by developing accurate budgets, coordinating with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate budgets and cost estimates for project proposals and bids
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies during the preconstruction phase
- Manage project timelines and schedules to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction or related field
- Demonstrated success in managing luxury custom residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and project management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
