Join TheraCare Bronx as a Physical Therapist specializing in Early Intervention services in New York City, New York. We're seeking a licensed PT to deliver developmental therapy and support families of infants and toddlers in the Bronx community.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist – Early Intervention at TheraCare Bronx, you'll provide evidence-based therapy to young children with developmental delays, working directly within their homes and community settings. This full-time position combines clinical expertise with family-centered care, playing a critical role in each child's early developmental journey.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for infants and toddlers referred to the Early Intervention Program
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting gross motor skills, mobility, and functional movement
- Provide direct therapy services in natural environments, primarily home-based and community settings
- Educate and coach families on therapeutic strategies, positioning, and activities to support development at home
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special educators, speech therapists, and service coordinators
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document all services in accordance with Early Intervention Program standards
- Maintain professional licensure and stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy
What We're Looking For
- Current New York State Physical Therapy license (PT, not PTA)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and early childhood development
- Familiarity with the Early Intervention Program or early childhood services (preferred)
- Ability to work independently in diverse home and community environments
- Excellent communication and family collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Commitment to family-centered, culturally responsive care

Compensation
Salary range: $68.00–$73.00 per hour, full-time position.
