About the Role
As a Photo Specialist at our Portland Walgreens location, you'll be the go-to expert in our photo department, providing knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient support to every customer who walks through our doors. This is a hands-on, in-store position focused on creating a warm and welcoming experience from first greeting to final transaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the photo department with professionalism, warmth, and a sense of urgency
- Deliver accurate product and service information to help customers make confident decisions
- Operate and maintain photo equipment and services to ensure quality output
- Provide a consistently positive, memorable in-store experience that reflects Walgreens' service standards
- Collaborate with store teammates and step in to support other departments — including the register — as needed
- Help maintain overall store presentation and organization in line with company guidelines
Qualifications
- Genuine enthusiasm for customer service and helping people
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to multitask and shift between responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a photo-related role is a plus but not required
