The work
The Pega Application Developer / Business Analyst will be responsible for configuring solution applications, designing functional processes, and supporting business users throughout solution implementation. This role leverages strong Pega platform expertise to build process models, business rules, user interfaces, and marketing campaign functional requirements that meet client needs.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and user groups to translate requirements into scalable Pega solutions while supporting user testing, readiness, and application performance improvements. The role requires a balance of hands‑on configuration, analytical thinking, and high‑quality documentation practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Configure Pega applications including process models, business rules, and user interfaces
- Create functional requirements for marketing campaigns and related business workflows
- Analyze, design, and support implementation of business‑specific Pega solutions and frameworks
- Support customers through user acceptance testing and business readiness activities
- Work on application performance tuning and improvements
- Design and build well‑documented, supportable, and extensible Pega components
- Maintain and enhance existing developments built by consultants, partners, and clients
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment across business and technical workstreams
Here’s what you need:
- Pega Certification (required) — aligned with internal Pega role expectations (e.g., PCSA or CSSA)
- Hands‑on experience configuring Pega solutions (rules, flows, UI, integrations)
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional designs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and improve application performance
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting user readiness, testing cycles, or enterprise deployments
- Understanding of Pega solution frameworks and best practices
- Exposure to marketing automation, campaign management, or customer‑journey workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
- Eligibility to obtain a government Public Trust Clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
