About This Position
We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team at The Access Group in Melbourne. This is a full-time position for an initial period of 6-12 months, with the potential for extension or permanent employment.
What You'll Do
- Process and reconcile payroll data accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations
- Prepare and distribute pay slips and other payroll-related documents
- Support the management of employee records and benefits administration
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll role, preferably with MicrOpay or Definitiv software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
