Role Overview
Join our Underwriting team as a Parametric Underwriter and help shape the future of climate and natural catastrophe risk transfer. In this role, you will support the underwriting, structuring, pricing, and execution of parametric insurance and reinsurance transactions globally, working closely with Business Development, Risk Modelling, and other teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the underwriting, structuring, pricing, and execution of parametric insurance and reinsurance transactions globally.
- Work closely with Business Development, Risk Modelling, and other teams to ensure efficient and effective transaction processes.
- Analyse and interpret data related to climate and natural catastrophe risks.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting strategies and models.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record in parametric insurance or reinsurance, with a focus on climate and natural catastrophe risk transfer.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in underwriting, structuring, pricing, and execution of transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
