The role of the Palliative System Medical Director at Aspirus Health involves leading the planning, organization, and direction of the Palliative Medicine Program. You will bring a collaborative, innovative approach to program administration, quality improvement, networking, and community engagement.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the development and implementation of palliative care programs across multiple settings
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with community partners, healthcare organizations, and local stakeholders
• Leading quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Providing clinical leadership in the management of complex cases

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Be board-certified in Internal Medicine and Palliative Care
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in palliative care, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams
• Show evidence of successful program development and management
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for networking and community engagement
