Paint Sales Estimator/Project Manager: $80K-$100K

Join a nationally recognized commercial painting contractor in Long Beach, Los Angeles County as a Project Manager and Estimator. This is a full-time position offering $80K–$100K annually with a growing, professional team in the commercial construction sector.

About the Role

This dual-function position combines sales estimating with hands-on project management, making you essential to the growth and success of our contractor client. You'll manage the full project lifecycle—from initial client consultation through successful project completion—while developing estimates that win business and drive profitability.

What You'll Do

• Create detailed, competitive project estimates for commercial painting work, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
• Manage assigned projects from pre-bid walkthrough through final closeout, ensuring quality standards and timeline adherence
• Coordinate with painting crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project execution
• Conduct site inspections, handle quality control, and address client concerns with professionalism
• Develop and maintain client relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and support business development efforts
• Prepare proposals, change orders, and project documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Monitor budgets, track labor hours, and report project performance metrics to management

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a paint estimator, project manager, or in a similar construction management role
• Strong command of painting terminology, techniques, surface preparation, and product specifications
• Solid understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing clients and crews
• Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and technical specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or construction management background preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
