Western Flyer Xpress is actively recruiting experienced OTR CDL-A Company Truck Drivers to join our growing fleet in Cortez, Montezuma County. If you're a skilled driver seeking consistent, stable work with a carrier that prioritizes your professional success and safety, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a full-time position for dedicated solo CDL-A drivers to operate our modern dry van fleet on over-the-road freight lanes. We offer both regional and long-haul opportunities with predictable scheduling and excellent earning potential for qualified drivers.
What You'll Do
- Operate company-assigned dry van equipment on OTR and regional freight lanes across our established routes
- Transport freight safely, efficiently, and professionally to meet customer commitments
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and company management
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain all required logbooks and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, federal hours-of-service rules, and company safety standards
- Stay current with industry best practices and company protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Professional attitude with strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work independently on the road for 18–21 day stretches between home time
- Flexibility to accept assigned routes and adapt to varying freight requirements
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with our dispatch team
- Proven experience operating over-the-road commercial vehicles

Compensation & Details
- Mileage rate: $0.60–$0.65 per mile based on your experience level
- Full-time employment status with guaranteed OTR and regional freight opportunities
