The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Operator to join our team at Newmont's Silver Sands site in the Mandurah area. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating ancillary equipment and systems that support our mining operations.

• Key responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting machinery, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment operational.

Core Duties

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and operating ancillary equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhering to safety protocols and reporting any issues or concerns immediately.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions as required.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual with the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational or maintenance role within the mining industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols, including WHS compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and management.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
