About the Role
As our Legal Administration Manager, you'll drive efficiency and effectiveness across legal operations by managing administrative functions, optimizing workflows, and ensuring our legal team has the infrastructure and support to deliver exceptional client service. This position bridges strategy and execution, allowing you to shape departmental operations while directly enabling our attorneys and legal professionals.
What You'll Do
- Direct day-to-day legal administrative operations, including document management, matter tracking, records administration, and file systems
- Design and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs across the legal department
- Leverage legal management technology, case management software, and business systems to streamline workflows and increase productivity
- Establish and promote best practices in legal administration, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations
- Coordinate cross-functionally with partners across practice groups and support departments to advance legal initiatives and shared objectives
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, and operational guidelines
- Oversee departmental budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation to support strategic goals
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in legal administration, legal operations, or business management roles
- Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and managing operational processes and improvements
- Advanced proficiency with legal practice management systems, document management platforms, and enterprise technology
- Strong project management capabilities with proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Strategic thinking paired with strong attention to operational detail and quality
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, law, or related discipline (or equivalent professional background)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
