Occupational Therapist (OT) Treating Supervisor- Hope

Sigma Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Treating Supervisor to lead clinical operations and deliver direct patient care at our skilled nursing facilities in Stadium, Bronx. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist ready to supervise clinical staff, evaluate residents, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in a geriatric rehabilitation environment.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist Treating Supervisor with Sigma Rehab, you'll combine hands-on clinical practice with team leadership to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services. You'll evaluate residents, design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans, and oversee clinical care delivery across our skilled nursing facilities in the Bronx. Your work will help residents regain independence, improve functional capacity, and return to their communities with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop comprehensive occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to their rehabilitation goals and medical needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy treatment and supervise OT staff and support personnel
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and clinical observations in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
• Maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance for all occupational therapy services
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and discharge planning

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Current, active New York State Occupational Therapy license
• Proven experience in a skilled nursing facility, geriatric care, or similar rehabilitation setting (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage clinical staff
• Excellent clinical documentation and communication abilities
• Commitment to person-centered care and resident dignity
