About This Position
Hire Hubb is seeking a skilled Mould Designer to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have experience with hot runner and cold runner moulds, as well as 2-plate and 3-plate mould designs.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand and apply knowledge of hot runner, cold runner moulds, and 2-plate and 3-plate mould designs.
- Create Design for Manufacturability (DFM) documentation to ensure manufacturability.
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models for tooling design.
- Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Manage tooling document control, including Document Change Notices (DCN) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong background in mould design, with specific skills in 2-plate and 3-plate mould design. Experience with GD&T is essential.
