Nestle is hiring a Mole Utility Operator for our 2nd shift team in Glendale, Denver. This is a full-time position operating and maintaining critical utility infrastructure that keeps our operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Mole Utility Operator on 2nd shift, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mole equipment and utility systems. You'll monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems operate within specifications. This role is essential to maintaining the productivity and safety standards Nestle is known for across our Denver facilities.
What You'll Do
- Operate mole utility equipment and related machinery according to established procedures and safety protocols
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Monitor system performance and adjust operations to maintain optimal efficiency
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or irregularities
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues in logs or systems
- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a culture of continuous safety improvement
- Collaborate with team members and shift supervisors to meet production goals
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating utility equipment or similar industrial machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read equipment specifications, manuals, and maintenance documentation
- Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent 2nd shift schedule
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
- Basic math skills for monitoring system parameters and recording data
