Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test and refine MATLAB-based computer models that support infrared detection tool validation and subsequent enhancement

• Collaborate daily with research scientists and engineers to interpret findings and align modelling outputs with project goals
• Document modelling assumptions, code structure and validation results so that the wider DSTG team can reuse and extend the work

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and validate technical models using MATLAB in a research or engineering environment
• Competence in rigorous data analysis methods applied to sensor or detection-system information
