As a Material Handler I with Tactile Medical in New Brighton, Minnesota, you will manage the day-to-day flow of inventory and materials inside the warehouse. Daily work covers receiving goods, placing them correctly, pulling stock for orders, packing shipments, and keeping records current so production stays on track. Responsibilities
- Take in, sort, and put away materials according to warehouse guidelines, positioning items on racks, shelves, bins, or other assigned spots
- Keep inventory records precise by updating locations, noting items received or released, helping with cycle and full physical counts, and finishing all required paperwork
- Assist shipping and receiving duties such as unloading vehicles, inspecting incoming goods, selecting stock, packing orders, and staging finished shipments for outbound transport
- Observe standard processes, regulatory rules, and quality standards that include HIPAA expectations, and prompt reporting of any quality or flow issues that could affect products
- Keep the workspace safe, clean, and orderly through 5S principles by regularly organizing shelves, pallet zones, and workstations
- Partner with co-workers to sustain steady production, arrive on time as required, and complete additional tasks when assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior background in the medical device field preferred
- Capability to operate a forklift safely or complete successful forklift training within 30 days of starting preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level up to table height
- Capacity to remain standing for continuous blocks of two to three hours
- Familiarity with computers that includes Microsoft Outlook plus navigation of ERP and QMS platforms
