About the Role

You'll serve as both a working supervisor and team leader on the 3rd shift, directing all formulation activities essential to sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing. Your focus is ensuring batches meet production schedules and quality standards while building a capable, engaged team. You'll oversee formulation personnel, participate directly in batch processing, troubleshoot production challenges, and maintain the operational rhythm that drives our facility's success.

What You'll Do

• Lead and participate in formulation operations, from material preparation through batch completion
• Monitor production schedules and ensure all formulation tasks and compliance checkpoints are completed on time
• Supervise formulation technicians, assign work, and provide coaching to build team capability
• Identify and resolve formulation issues, deviations, and quality concerns in real time
• Document batch activities, process deviations, and quality data according to company and regulatory standards
• Enforce cGMP compliance, safety protocols, and facility procedures across the 3rd shift team
• Train team members on formulation processes, equipment, and quality expectations
• Report production metrics, safety incidents, and team performance to management

What We're Looking For

• Proven supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or sterile processing environments
• Solid grasp of formulation processes, batch documentation, and quality control fundamentals
• Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and sterile manufacturing requirements
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and develop team members
• Problem-solving ability and flexibility in a dynamic production setting
• Reliability and comfort working consistently on 3rd shift
• High school diploma or GED; background in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or engineering a plus
