As a full-time Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure our guests and staff enjoy a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment throughout our beautifully restored landmark hotel.
About the Role
This full-time position focuses on the day-to-day upkeep and repair of our historic property located in Portland's Old Port District. You'll work on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems that keep our hotel running smoothly while preserving the character and integrity of this Historic Hotel of America designated property.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address issues before they escalate
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility problems
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and property upkeep
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Experience in building maintenance or a related mechanical field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
