About This Position
The State of South Carolina is seeking a M365 Security Architect - Consultant to support deployment and management of the State-Wide Information Technology Shared Services Cloud initiatives and projects. This role will be based in Alaska (statewide), working full-time with no remote option.
Core Duties
- Supporting the deployment and management of cloud initiatives and projects within the Department of Technology Operations
- Ensuring the security architecture aligns with industry best practices and state regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement secure solutions for cloud environments
Requirements
- Experience in M365 Security Architecture and Cloud Engineering
- Strong understanding of security principles, including identity management, access controls, and threat detection
- A track record of leading cloud infrastructure projects from design to implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
