About This Position
This is a full-time locum tenens position for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) at a facility in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves 4 days per week with an additional Saturday shift every six weeks from 8 am to 5 pm.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients under the supervision of a physician or according to established protocols.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as necessary.
- Provide comprehensive care including physical exams, vaccinations, and routine check-ups.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Active NP license in North Carolina or ability to obtain one quickly.
- Clinical experience in pediatrics preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
