West Coast Junior Loan Processor – Remote

About the Role

As a remote Junior Loan Processor at Knock, you'll be a trusted point of support across the borrower journey — explaining Knock's products and programs, preparing loan files, and helping customers reach a smooth, on-time closing. This is a full-time, fully remote position supporting customers in the Pacific or Mountain time zones, so recent experience working in those zones is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and verify the documentation needed to submit complete loan files for processing and underwriting.
• Manage an active pipeline of roughly 50–60 loan closings each month while securing Initial Closing Disclosure signatures on time.
• Issue compliant initial disclosures and revised Loan Estimates within 24–48 hours, applying a working knowledge of TRID.
• Confirm minimum submission requirements before files move forward, and complete Patriot Act checks using customer identification.
• Handle condo approval requirements, including requesting and reviewing supporting documents.
• Respond promptly to every borrower, teammate, and stakeholder — no email or voicemail left unanswered.
• Take on ad-hoc projects, share what's working with the team, and keep expanding your mortgage origination expertise.

Qualifications

• One or more years in mortgage operations and/or loan processing.
• Recent experience working within the Pacific or Mountain time zone (required).
• Hands-on experience with Encompass, Blend, and/or Google Suite.
• A detail-oriented, process-driven approach and the ability to interpret internal guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a genuine service mindset.
• Proven success working 100% remotely as part of a distributed, national team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The compensation for this position is $53,000 USD plus an incentive (bonus) plan.
