Life Sciences Market Access Manager

Deloitte's Life Sciences & Health Care practice is seeking a Market Access Manager to join our Boston office in Suffolk County. In this full-time role, you'll guide innovative health solutions through complex market landscapes, working with leaders and stakeholders across the health ecosystem to drive adoption, reimbursement success, and patient access.

About the Role

Market access—the intersection of science, policy, economics, and strategy—shapes which breakthrough therapies reach patients and how they're utilized. As a Market Access Manager at Deloitte in Boston, you'll be at the center of this critical function, helping pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech clients navigate regulatory environments, payer landscapes, and clinical practice realities. You'll combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to solve the highest-stakes problems in modern health care.

What You'll Do

• Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and reimbursement pathways for life sciences products and services
• Develop and execute market access strategies that address regulatory, payer, provider, and patient stakeholder needs
• Conduct health economic research and outcomes analysis to support value demonstrations and pricing decisions
• Synthesize market data, clinical evidence, and policy trends into actionable client recommendations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across consulting, regulatory affairs, and commercial functions
• Support proposal development and project execution for life sciences consulting engagements
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the health care ecosystem in the Boston area and beyond

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, public health, health policy, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Strong foundation in pharmaceutical or medical device market dynamics, health economics, or health policy
• Analytical and research skills with proficiency in data synthesis and strategic problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities—you'll present findings to C-suite executives and policy experts
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and meet aggressive timelines
• Intellectual curiosity about health care transformation, equity, and innovation
• Willingness to travel as needed for client work (estimated 20–40%)
