The Opportunity

America's Best is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our team as a General Manager. As part of National Vision, one of the largest optical retail companies in the United States, you will be responsible for ensuring every customer receives exceptional care and service at our location in New Hartford. This role offers a full-time opportunity with no remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
• Oversee inventory management and product displays to maintain a well-stocked and attractive store environment
• Train and mentor staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in eyewear sales and services
• Collaborate with the National Vision team to implement company-wide initiatives and strategies

Qualifications

• Licensed Optician with a valid state license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an optician or retail management role
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• A passion for eyewear and a commitment to providing top-notch customer care
