About the Role
As a Licensed Floortime Provider with WonDIRful Play, you'll deliver individualized DIR/Floortime sessions designed to support children's developmental progress and strengthen family relationships. Our approach centers on meeting each child where they are and building meaningful, joyful interactions that spark growth. You'll be part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy in an environment where play is the primary vehicle for change.
What You'll Do
- Conduct structured Floortime sessions following DIR/Floortime methodology and evidence-based practices
- Assess children's developmental capacities and functional emotional levels
- Design and implement personalized intervention strategies tailored to each child's unique profile and family needs
- Partner collaboratively with families to extend therapeutic goals into home environments
- Document session progress, developmental milestones, and treatment adjustments
- Communicate regularly with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain thorough clinical records and comply with regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), occupational therapist (OT), or equivalent qualified health professional credential
- Knowledge of DIR/Floortime methodology and child development
- Strong capacity for empathy, patience, and creative problem-solving
- Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Genuine passion for supporting children and families through developmental challenges
