About the Role
As Lead Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be essential to Kiewit's project procurement operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex negotiations, oversee high-stakes contracts, and support the legal and risk management aspects of our supply chain. You'll combine hands-on project administration with training and guidance to strengthen the broader procurement team.
What You'll Do
- Lead negotiations on behalf of project teams and corporate procurement objectives
- Manage critical procurement and contract administration activities for power and industrial construction projects
- Provide legal and risk-related support to ensure contract compliance and protect company interests
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance supply chain capabilities across teams
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align procurement strategy with project goals
- Analyze procurement performance and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or contract administration
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships
- Demonstrated capability to handle high-risk and legal-related contract matters
- Training and mentoring experience
- Knowledge of power and industrial construction or infrastructure projects
- Attention to detail and strong risk management mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
