Altasciences is hiring an LCMS/MS ADC Principal Research Scientist to join our bioanalytical team in Everett, Snohomish County — a senior, full-time role at the forefront of drug discovery, development, and manufacturing that helps bring new therapies to patients faster.
About the Role
As an LCMS/MS ADC Principal Research Scientist at Altasciences in Everett, you will provide scientific leadership in the bioanalysis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). This on-site position places you at the center of advancing innovative drug therapies, where your expertise directly contributes to the health and well-being of people around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for antibody-drug conjugates and related biotherapeutics.
- Develop, optimize, and validate quantitative assays supporting discovery, development, and manufacturing programs.
- Interpret complex analytical data and translate findings into clear scientific guidance for project teams.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, mentoring colleagues and championing best practices in mass spectrometry.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to keep projects aligned with client needs and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Deep, hands-on expertise with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and bioanalytical workflows.
- Demonstrated experience characterizing and quantifying antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) or comparable large-molecule therapeutics.
- A track record of scientific leadership, method development, and rigorous data interpretation.
- Strong collaboration skills and a customer-focused, quality-driven mindset.
- Availability to work on-site in Everett, Snohomish County (this role is not remote).
