About the Role
This full‑time position operates on a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role is based in our Green Bay facility and reports directly to the shift supervisor. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.00.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and label samples according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine chemical and physical analyses using standard laboratory instrumentation.
- Record results accurately in laboratory notebooks and LIMS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and quality control guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management of reagents and consumables.
- Participate in routine calibration and preventive maintenance of instruments.
- Participate in periodic internal audits and proficiency testing programs.
- Assist in training new technicians on laboratory procedures and equipment use.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a science field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Reliability and punctuality for the scheduled shift.
- Experience with basic data entry and familiarity with LIMS or similar software is a plus.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet project deadlines when needed.
