Role Overview

The Kaiārahi (Navigator) role within Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki's Whānau Ora team is to support identified priority whānau by developing personalized plans and helping them achieve their aspirations. This full-time, fixed-term position until 30 June 2027 requires working closely with whānau to identify goals and provide comprehensive 'wrap around' or multi-disciplinary support.

Core Duties

• Work alongside identified priority whānau to develop personalized plans, identify aspirations, and set goals.
• Provide ‘wrap around’/multi-disciplinary support by drawing on a range of approaches to assist whānau in achieving their outcomes.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the best possible support for whānau.

What You Bring

• A strong understanding and commitment to Māori cultural values, tikanga, and te reo Māori where applicable.
• Experience in working with whānau or community-based services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt.
