About the Role

As our Inventory Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our inventory systems. This position spans both front-end retail operations and pharmacy departments, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures and training programs that ensure consistency across all departments
  • Manage receiving operations, including verification, sorting, and proper storage of incoming merchandise
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records in our systems
  • Oversee pricing accuracy and proper labeling of products throughout the store
  • Process merchandise returns and manage the return cycle to ensure product quality and inventory accuracy
  • Monitor on-shelf availability to identify gaps and ensure customers find what they need
  • Coordinate pharmacy inventory activities including stock rotation, ordering, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Train team members on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Identify opportunities to reduce shrink and improve inventory efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience with inventory management systems and processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to train and lead team members effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and record-keeping
  • Ability to work in a retail environment and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Proficiency with retail point-of-sale and inventory software preferred
