CRG is seeking an experienced Interior Designer III to join our team in Phoenix, Maricopa County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape compelling interior spaces while leading collaborative design efforts across a forward-thinking practice.
About the Role
As an Interior Designer III, you will play a key leadership role within our interior design studio, directing design strategy for a diverse portfolio of projects. You'll partner with colleagues across multiple disciplines, leverage relationships with our parent company Clayco's construction and real estate divisions, and contribute to projects ranging from independent engagements to fully integrated vertically-structured deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Lead interior design concepts from initial vision through detailed documentation and construction administration
- Mentor and collaborate with junior and peer-level designers to elevate design quality and consistency
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and building stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Develop design standards and best practices that strengthen the firm's reputation and efficiency
- Manage client relationships and communicate design decisions that balance vision with feasibility
- Contribute to both independent projects and cross-disciplinary initiatives within the Clayco family
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an interior designer with a demonstrated portfolio of completed projects
- Strong proficiency in design software, drawing standards, and technical documentation
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor others while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and client-management abilities
- Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction practices
- Professional design credentials or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Based in or willing to work from the Phoenix, Maricopa County area
