About the Role

This adjunct teaching position engages you in delivering in-person instruction across Touro University's Liberal Arts and Sciences campuses in Brooklyn, including Avenue J and Lander College for Women. You'll work with undergraduate students in an innovative program that bridges traditional design disciplines with cutting-edge digital tools and emerging creative technologies.

What You'll Do

• Teach undergraduate courses in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Develop and deliver curriculum covering digital design theory, visual communication, and design fundamentals
• Integrate artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies into creative projects and coursework
• Mentor students through the design process, offering critique and guidance on their work
• Assess student learning and maintain course documentation and progress records
• Partner with program faculty on curriculum refinement and instructional approaches

What We're Looking For

• Professional expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and digital design tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world experience in interactive design, digital media, or related disciplines
• Teaching experience or proven ability to communicate complex design concepts effectively to learners
• Knowledge of how artificial intelligence is reshaping creative workflows and design practice
• Bachelor's degree in design, multimedia, or closely related field, or equivalent professional achievement
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to supporting student success
