We are looking for an HR Labor Relations expert to join the HR organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in collective bargaining for a first contract, ensuring a highly collaborative negotiation process.
- Interact with union stewards and union reps maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship.
- Collaborate with the Wizards HR Team, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Union representations, and Legal teams on any HR processes to ensure smooth implementation.
- Manage HR processes for employees in the bargaining unit, including preparing communications and readiness initiatives.
- Advise and update HR policies, programs, and procedures to support new legal and compliance requirements.
- Build capability within Manager and HR community.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on labor relations and union environments.
- Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations, specifically the ability to negotiate a first contract.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and partners.
- Proficiency in HR operational changes and readiness communication.
- Ability to manage and update HR documentation.
- A positive, ambitious attitude and a dedication to excellence in all tasks.
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Wizards of the Coast games and culture.
Additional Details:
Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Workwell as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.
- Employment Type: Contingent Worker
- Location: Hybrid out of Renton, WA
- Duration: 12 months
Compensation Range, Currency USD:
- Starting Pay Range: $100/hour
- Pay Range End: $150/hour
